MN-520 cannot connect to Netgear MR814v2

went through setup successfully except it had to update
my windows 98 software but computer turned off due to
power failure.. wasn't sure if it was done yet.

power light is on, wireless light periodically blinks
but no connection to network, i have successfully
connected to network with computer 2 floors away. i'm in
same room as router. router requires WEP key and
broadcasts an SSID but 520 doesn't see it.

not sure what to do next. changed my advanced threshold
to 3204 or watever was noted with Linksys router just to
see if it worked but still no seeeing of router!
please help
