I'm using a triple monitor setup with an Sapphire 5770.
Because I'm using a crappy active DP to DVI adaptor (made by BizLink, distributed by Sapphire), I can't select my monitors native resolution through windows, and I have to force it through the ATi Catalyst Control Centre.

This works for desktop mode, however, since games use Windows resolutions, is there any way I can force windows to think that my can use 2048x1152 (monitors native resolution), and for all intensive purposes, while using Eyefinity, 6144x1152 for gaming?

I'm using Win7 x64 home.

you should be able to force the games native resolution to what u need through the drivers... just like you can force AA, ect.

The problem seems to have mystically cured itself. ?_?
After an hour, it finally let me select 6144x1152 in L4D, no idea why id didn't before. Same for Wolfenstein.
