Maxtor S-ATA/150 120GB 7200RPM 8MB

Hi All,

Im thinking of buying the above Harddrive. But im unsure of cables, ATA Serial etc etc. Do I need ATA Serial connectors, or interface boards inorder to use the above Harddrive - Or do I need these connectors on my mother board ?

My Sytem Specs Are As Follows:

Motherboard: Abit KX7-333/KX7-333R
CPU: Amd xp1700 Athalon
Harddrive: 15.Gig Quantium Fireball.
Ram: 512ram

Im assuming that you guys would only need my motherboard brand, to maybe answer my question. But I Included the rest of the specs just in case.

Information needed on the following Maxtor S-ATA/150 120GB 7200RPM 8MB
DiamondMax Plus 9, 8 MB cache


Thx to all, for information on the above. I really need to be sure before I fork out money on this product.

Just get the ATA133 version of the same drive. There isn't any performance difference.
