I'm looking for a three channel amplifier that is capable of 200 watts
a channel into 8 ohms (with headroom), but it must excel with 4 ohm
loads.
Any comments on candidate amps that appear to meet that criteria from
B and K, Bel Canto, and Bryston? Any others?

The Adcom 5503 (find it used) is supposed to be quite good at
220W/channel into 8 and is a high current design.
