I'm creating a setup with my AIW card to watch tv on my computer, but what concerns me is the sound issue. I want to have sorround sound to play games, but I also want sorround sound for music/dvds/tv. Because I would rather have a seperate cdplayer so I can have multiple cds queded and playing while using the computer I percieve a problem (I do not want two sets of speakers 
)
1) Can I setup a system from regular speakers that I can use with my computer? if so do I need a special sc, etc?
2) Are computer speakers (I would get megaworks 5.1 550) still quite good for movies etc? if so should I forget the seperate cd player idea...
any suggestions of an audio setup would be appreciate, as is apparent I'm not well learned on audio setups.
hmmm, I have a similar setup where I'm using a computer with AIW Radeon 8500DV to watch t.v and do video output. I'm using logitech's z680 with fortissimo 3 sound card. It's great for gaming, dvd's, music etc. Why not have your music collection on the hard drive in a playlist which will make it easier to listen to as u'd just have all your collection right on there at your finger tips.
