My PC has 2000 with serious errors that I can't fix. Added XP install. How
can I migrate the software setting over? I don't suppose I can just import
the exported 2000 software hive.

If you did not perform an "Upgrade" to Windows XP,
then you'll have to reinstall your programs using the
original installation CDs or media.

Well, that's the funny thing. I did choose "upgrade" but nothing is in the
XP install. Andy it's on the same hard drive. I assume it would be an
