Looking for a good game mouse but the reviews on mice here confuse me....In the Razer review it says:
"Speed also depends on the resolution of the screen. The higher it is, the higher the mouse's resolution will have to be for an equivalent speed."
Changing the resolution of a game does not affect my mouse (this is true for desktop applications only). They also say:
"You can't really attain 1600 cpi, in my opinion. In 1600x1200, you probably have to stop somewhere above 1000"
First off, i wonder if Razer or Logitech would go to the trouble of making redundantly high cpi counts. I think games do utilize high cpi, because unlike desktop applications a game can change a mouse's basic increments to whatever it wants regardless of screen resolution.
Is higher cpi really redundant when it comes to games like they are saying? Maybe they are applying desktop rules to gaming. Maybe i missed something but that is the impression i get.
