well, the update hit and we are being invaded. What say you? So far the
little green men are outnumbered 4 to 1 but what is to come?

I didn't see any sign of an update other than a lot more spam in the form
of every NPC's profession now hanging in the air over their heads. I
wonder whose stupid idea THAT was?

I went around to the various Atlantic cities but saw no sign of any
invasion. Guess it was a lot of hype for nothing. Again.

Then I noticed that the char I was using had somehow changed from being a
Glorious Lord (maxed out in karma and fame) to just being Glorious. I
think it's a bug since he still doesn't gain either karma or fame. Weird.

At the request of 3D players that could not see the job titles of
'special' monsters... I.E. paragons and generals.

The invasion comes in waves as I understand it, so you may have gotten
'unlucky'. Try patrolling West Brit and northward past the Brit
graveyard towards the Despise passage.
