Hello. I am so confused and not sure what I have to do. I have a Gateway and
lost my windows xp cd. They told me to use the restore disk but windowsxp on
the restore disc is saved in these 1 named huge files. I guess they are
compressed to save Gateway money. My problem is, When I install fax software
that came with my printer, it asks me to put in the windows xp disc. It looks
for the I386 folder.
Well, Gateway wont send me a WindowsXp disc. They said that I have the
system restore disc and thats that. What should I do?
P.s. I have had this computer for 6 months and this printer did not come
with it. I just bought my printer today. Lexmark Scanner/printer.
