I tried to transfer or retrieve some files from a shared directory in my PC which is running Windows XP from my PDA, Acer N35 running on Windows CE 4.2 but failed. My Acer N35 has no problem accessing the internet.

The PC is connected to a wireless router and my PDA, Acer N35 has a SDIO card attached and is able to access the internet. I tried open > //name of PC but failed. It suggested I set up a VPN network which I did but it still fails.
My wife PDA, Acer C530 which is newer and runs on Windows Mobile 2003 manage access by just typing open //
and then the PC name, login and managed to see the shared directory and transfer or retrieve file from it. ANy help is highly appreciated.
