Laptop paradox

Some of you may have seen my last post about shipping a computer overseas, i'm going abroad for a semester and i obv. need to take a computer with me. Right now all i have is a desktop and shipping it over is a bitch, i dont really have any budget for a laptop but i'm seeing whats out there anyway. \
My requirements are:
1 portability something in a 14 inch screen (also lightweight)
3 Battery Life (like 2-4 hours)
4 Moderate gaming, not planning on sitting in my room all day but i wanna be able to play WC, Supreme Commander, CoH, CS.

I'm shooting for 1k$ but can stretch to like 1250$

So far i've priced the Alienware Area-51 m5550

FORCE 3240
Dell E1505

I'm looking for a solid notebook.
