Sound driver

when playing video and audio on my laptop, i don't get to hear the sound. what can i do?

What make and model of laptop are you using? Also, in Control Panel/Device Manager do you have any devices (particularly the sound) that indicate a problem?

Last (for now), do you have the desired playback device selected as default in Control Panel/Sound?
