Only part of a ReadProcessMemory

Hello,

I have Windows 7 on both my desktop and my laptop. I am trying to install a program from my CD drive and I am getting this error message: "only part of a ReadProcessingMemory or WriteProcessingMemory was completed." Then the installation stopped.

I did not have any problem installing from the CD to my laptop. I have installed other programs from CD to desktop.

So, I am puzzled

copy the source files to you PC with any of disk imaging software's like POWERISO 0r MAGICISO or just copying is enough for most of times unless in need auto-run function for games cd...

I did a fairly extensive search using pretty much all of the keywords. Every response and every solution, including, btw, the link at microsoft.com that you sent, displayed a Windows XP solution. As I said in my post, I am running Windows 7.

windows 7 or xp , your problem is OS not able to read the source from disk..
SO Operating system wont matters here.. try to understand this....
