Open start and type (without the quotes) "create and format hard disk partitions"
Drives should be there and may need to assign a drive letter and format. If not, then re-check connections inside the computer.

you will need to format the disk drives if it is detected in bios and not in windows. In order to go to disk management, right click my computer>manage>disk management then assign and format the drives in question.
