browseui.dll fault

I Have winXP and on start up get my deck top and no icon but error message
explorer.exe (this applic failed to start because broweui.dll not found. this
applic much be reloaded to fix). safe mode only reboot,resource console ask
for admin password (don't have one) but I can get to task manager if this
helps.

Open Recovery Console:- [use TAB to bypass the password and ENTER]

From the command prompt, run:
C:\>CD\windows\system32
C:\>ren browseui.dll browseui.old .

Restart your computer.

sorry to be dum but at (c:\windows) prompt I entered C:\>CD\windows\system32
C:\>ren browseui.dll browseui.old .and was told to type "help" for command.
What I'm doing wrong?

In the Recovery Console command prompt enter the following command:

COPY C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i3­86\browseui.dll C:\Windows\System32

I did what you suggested but got "the system cannot find the file specified"
