I am using Canon lbp 2900 driver but its not functioning with win

I just purchased a new pc; with Windows 7 64 bit op. sys. Unfortunately, my Canon LBP 2900 64 bit drivers from the Canon homepage do not work. The USB port is active, however the device drivers are not recognised or functional. Can someone advise me please!

have you tried the 32-bit drivers? the windows update might also help. also try the netspot device installer...

I have tried the 32-bit drivers. No luck at the moment.

Make sure it's checked as default printer.
