I came across some synergistic speakers model S62A for sale. I have
never heard of these before and unfortunately won't be able to listen
to them before purchase if I elect to do so. I was wondering if
anybody here knew anything about these.

I purchased a pair of these back in the 1980's model S-31. They are great and were able to take a full 250w without distortion. If you still want to purchase these I could make you a good price. They have an oiled walnut cabinet in very good condition. They have not been used much since I purchased a home theatre syste. I also have a pair of Cerwin-Vega Model AT-8's that are in top shape and came with the wife when we married. Slightly darker walnut finish.
