I’m buying a Dell Latitude D630 notebook and trying to save as much money as possible. Dell is currently running a $299 discount on the D630 – but this discount expires tonight (Wednesday) at 9 PM CST. However, knowing Dell, it’ll probably be replaced with another. Given that Dell will soon be releasing new lines, does anyone have a guess as to whether or not I should buy it now or wait until tomorrow? On a tight budget, so this is pretty important for me.

Well, if you check the Home and Home Office section, the new Inspirons are already out. The Latitiudes, to the best of my knowledge, aren't being updated anymore besides the addition of the Centrino Pro which the D630 already has. The only thing to be released is the Vostro line, which if I understand it correctly, is meant to be the business version of the Inspiron and won't be out until mid-July. If the price is right for you and you like the D630, go for it.
