I know that the "T" is DVI and the "N" isn't, but is there really that much of a difference in picture quality?

As far as I know everything else is the same between the two models. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The reason I'm asking is because Buy.com has the "N" for $299, but the cheapest I can find the "T" for is $439.

So is the "T" really worth $140 more than the "N"?

Thanks.

Also, I've heard that the 710s only display 16.2 million colors instead of 16.7 (24 bit), and must use "dithering".

Is this a concern?

Thanks.

The differences between them, aside from analog and digital inputs, are that the 710T has the ability to pivot, and weighs a few pounds more.
You are correct in that the 710's use 18 bit color, dithered to 16.2 million colors. This should not present a problem as Samsung has an excellent dithering algorithm, the only time I have seen it behave poorly is in movies, when it sometimes renders dark scenes horribly.

you can see the specs on them here:
