Thanks in advance for helping out a NewB....
Im running an Asus P4P800, 2.6, 1x128 pc2100, 1x256 pc2100, Win XP...
Would I be best to get 1 more 1x128 pc2100 and 1 more 1x256 pc2100 to give me 768mb pc2100 or scrap these two sticks and get 2x256 pc3200?
Usage: Mainly for small business, minor gaming, minor video editing.
Or would I be better to invest in SATA Raid 0?
Thanks,
NF

Which 2.6, the A or the C?

Assuming you have a 2.6C (800 bus), you'll want nothing less than PC3200. Nothing else can match the bus speed.

For you ram question, replace wat you got now with the 2x 256mb pc3200.

Oh yeah just keep the HD you have right now. SATA is nothing right now to brag about. My boot times are about the same between serial and parallel.

May I ask how you are able to run the ram at 240 clock? If you are using a ratio other then 1:1. I could see that but you are still taking a major drag in overall performace. 2.8ghz with 200 system clock will smoke a 3.1ghz with 133 system clock.

Addi,
Im new to OCing too. The P4P800 bios has OC AI. I have it set at 20% OC and it does the rest. Im not sure what all the little individual settings are. Every setting I look at says my cpu is 3120mhz. Like I said, im new, so i may not truly be running at that speed, or im losing someplace else.
