Hey,

I have an old IBM A30 P3 933 MHz. Recently, the AC adapter input fried, so that connector does not work anymore. Im planning on using this working laptop for a file server at home, so it need not be portable. With that said, is it possible for me to solder the AC adapter + and - to the battery bay, so the laptop would be usable?
