I'm surprised this review praises the iPhone headphones so much. My iPhone headphones are horrible in comparison to my Shure E5c earbuds. There is no comparison.

I was pleased to see that for $10, there is an adapter to use standard headphones with the iPhone. If the adapter really works, I would highly suggest replacing the iPhone headphones with something better like the E5c's. yeah, you do loose some functionality like being able to pause playback by pinching the white connector on the headphones, but the sound quality is infinitely better.
