Feedback/Suggestion request: Lenovo 3000 N100 Notebook

Hi,

I have shortlisted Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop for purchase. All the reviews that I have read from various URL's give the laptop a high overall rating. However a number of reviews have rated the quality of sound and speakers as very poor :( .

Can you please share your advise/opinion about the sound and speaker quality of the selected laptop and your suggestion/recommendation whether I should purchase it or consider some other brand.

Thanks.

I don't have any experience with that laptop or it's speakers, but I do with other laptops. Laptops almost never have great speakers. Most of the laptop speakers out there are just "adequate" to listen to some music and play games. Poor speakers just come with the territory with laptops.

Creative has an external version of the X-Fi that works with laptops. You could buy that hook up a set of better speakers.

Hi,

Thank you so much for your reply and feedback. I agree with you; regarding the fact that most laptops have just adequate sound quality. The reason for my post was because i gathered that the speaker/sound quality is "terrible and tinny". So I was hoping that maybe someone who already owns a Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop can share his/her views...

May i request if you can provide some useful URL(s) regarding the external X-Fi thing from Creative.

I hope I can get some feedback from someone who already owns Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop.

Thanks once again for your reply.

Regards.
