Time for a new phone

The very minute I got my Sony Ericsson S700i, I felt in love with it. It had every single feature I needed, as well it was on top of the technical progress at that time (2 years ago). It's too sad Sony doesn't continue the Sxxx series anymore (Wxxx and Kxxx only) so I began looking at other models. What I'm looking for in a phone:
- GPS
- lots of memory for mp3 and movies
- good camera (pix and movies)
- bluetooth, wifi
- EDGE, but HSPDA is preferred.
- Price is not an issue
- Don't need qwerty keyboard nor blackberry.

After some research, I came up with the only model that satisfies my needs, it is Nokia N95. Since it was released quite some time ago, it was found to have some deficiencies such as very low battery life. Today there is a Nokia GoPlay conference going on in London, and they announced N95i model with 8GB, bigger screen and 1200mAh battery (opposed to 900mAh in n95) to be released in October. So most likely that's what I'll be waiting for, however, there are also rumors about n97 and n98 with 7.2mpx cameras. I've looked at the competitor's products such as from Samsung, LG and HTC, but none seems to have either as good camera or GPS navigation. So please, I'm sure I must've missed something... Let me know what you think a good cellphone choice would be at this stage... Thanks alot guys...

P.S. oh... and I'm definitely not going with iPhone... Actually Nokia has a prototype of their touchscreen iPhone knock off, and HTC has a ready product already (if I'm not mistaken). But I'm not into touch screens at all until this new technology is perfected.

That is probably a good call on waiting. I do the same with the new technology. I like the bugs to be worked out before I start to invest.

I have the N95 8GB and can very much recommend it.
It has a huge screen great for videos. 8GB provides plenty of storage for music. The phone also is 3G and has Wifi. To compare features of N95 with others check swotti.com/mobilephones/

i have the N95 8GB and its the best phone ever.If u no someone who has the iphone and are turning it sideways just download rotate me from www.bysamir.fr and u can do the exact same thing.you also have a 2 way slider,3.5mm hadphone jack,5 megapixel camera with a carl zeiss optical lens, gps satellite navigation(you have to pay but you get 1 year free and its only €70 for 3 years ($?)),Spideman 3 omes on the phone and you can connect it to the tv so you can watch it on it.It is a very good mp3 player and if you have a good pair of earphones like shures or eymotics you can connect them to it because you have that great headphone jack. Also when you call someone or get called the voice qualty is amazing compared to other phones. The N95 also uses symbian os which is great for 3rd party apps.

I don't understand some people just get a separate media player like the ipod thats dedicated to movies and music. The cell phone companies are just sucking money out you people btw i still have a 4 year ol v360 that im using at this very moment typing this post. As for GPS they useful in a phone when you on the go but good luck find a charger as they eats your battery. As long I can read my email google reply to a few posts while accessing 60 gigs of my music/videos on my ipod im happy btw i have a 2 gig flash in my highly modded v360 for all my saved web pages.

You are using 3g or 4g (wimax/LTE) wireless internet service right? ISP does not...
