Hassle free use of dual sims

I am a dual sim card user. I have both the cards installed in the same phone. But I cannot switch from one sim to the other without manually switching one off. This is a real hassle while receiving calls. I am also on the look-out for a third generation (3G) compatible which will work well with UMTS and will also facilitate high speed internet surfing.
