Toshiba A10-S167 x LG GSA-T10N

Dear friends,

I have a notebook Toshiba A10-S167 and your DVD reader dont works (only read CD).
I buy an internal DVD LG GSA-T10N and after installing in the notebook it presents IDE ERROR and it doesn't work...
Exists a update of the firmware of this DVD to be accepted in the Toshiba A10 series.
Please, does anybody know where to find and as it updates the dvd to be accepted in Toshiba A10 series?
