IPAQ Expansion Pack Issues

Hi everyone =D

I am having issues with my expansion pack for my Ipaq. All the relevant details I can think of are listed below:

Ipaq 3975
PCMCIA expanion pack

Running: Pocket PC 2002 Version 3.0.11171 (build 11178)
Windows CE 3.0
Rom revision: 2.10.10

When I connect the expansion pack it seems to initialize correctly.

The information for the expansion pack shows up in: Settings > System > Expansion Pack
It shows up as being present here, stating it picks up the external battery, and states it is a PC-Card expansion.

However, I cannot get any PCMCIA cards to work on it.
I have tried

Orinoco Gold Card, using the correct drivers
PCMCIA to CF (compact flash) adaptor with 3 different types of CF cards

All of the devices above work fine with my laptop and desktop computer. So it seems to be an issue isolated to the expansion pack.

Do I need to install any software to actually use the expansion pack on my IPAQ?


Any help at all would be hugely appreciated. I have tried for about 2 weeks to get this going with no success!
