I am looking for a company or person that can develop a piece of hardware that will work with the iPhone. I need to be able to have the iPhone connect via the docking slot on the bottom to an Rj 45 female jack and from there into an IP camera with an embedded web browser. The idea is to allow a person to directly connect the camera to the iPhone to allow the camera to be focused. All the iPhone would have to do is to accept the IP address from the device and show the video in the browser (or, alternatively, a software program such as iView Commander could be used).

Any takers?

I suggest you ask people on Apple's own forums for advice. Particularly the dev forums. Who knows, they might even suggest another, better approach.
