hello all,

i checked out some laptops at Best Buy to get a more focused idea of what i want. Here's what I want, and I would appreciate feedback/opinions:
-WXGA or WSXGA
-17", but 15.4" is acceptable
Intel Core 2 Duo
60GB+ Hard Drive (not really an issue-always external)
2GB RAM for Vista
USB 2.0 (firewire, too, unless i can buy a firewire USB2.0 hub?..)
Counter Strike, Day of Defeat, HL2, FarCry, Crysis= (8600 preferred)
In the price range of $1200

: no backlight/leakage/ghosting
: zero dead-pixels
: good blacks with movies/games

Anyone have recommendations based on my preferences?

However, I am not a fan of Dell after i bought their 2005fpw when it 1st came out...Their quality and service doesn't seem on par with what i want, but, who knows.

ive also looked at the Acer Aspire 5920 in person and just didn't like the design (plus, the USB port on the right hand side prevents the CD drive from opening if you have a USB device attatched-CNET.UK on YouTube)

Any other suggestions?
