I uninstalled a program and in the process I lost a folder that contained
several other folders that I absolutely needed. I thought that if it was not
a folder associated with the program, it would not be touched, so I was
stupid and left it in the main folder when I uninstalled the program. I need
a freeware program that will easily recover that folder and all its
contents.

Please Help

Stop using the computer until you try data recovery. The more it's used
the less likely you'll get the data back, so hopeufuly you're not
posting from the same computer that has the problem.
