Hi Chrissi,

This script creates usable copies of REGEDIT, MSCONFIG and Task
Manager http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_emerutils.htm

This was most likely caused by virus/malware infection.
Virus and Spyware removal and prevention tips.

Instead of typing: cmd in Start | Run, type: cmd.exe

Do a Search on your machine for cmd.com. If you find any cmd.com files,
delete them.

The correct file is cmd.exe. There is also a file called command.com that
is legit.

Viruses can create files called cmd.com, regedit.com, explorer.com, etc.

If typed into Start | Run without the extension, the com extension will take
precedence over the exe extension.
