Just Upgraded my proc. from a amd 1800+ to a 3000+ and it wouldnt take untill i flashed my bios. Then all hell broke loose. Random restarts every 1-10 minutes. Raised my dram timings and it fixed it right away.

Before/ After:what I changed it too
Current FSB: 133mhz~~~ 166mhz
Current Dram: 133mhz~~~ 166mhz
Dram Clock: 133MHZ~~~ 166mhz
Dram CAS Latency: 2~~~ 3
Bank Interleave: Disabled~~ 2 Bank
Precharge to active: 2T~~ 3
Active to Precharge: 6T/10T~~ 7T/10T
Active to CMD: 2T~~~ 3T
Dram Burst Length: 4~~ 4
Dram Queue Depth 2 Level~~ Gone after flash
Dram Command Rate: 1T~~ 2T
Write recovery time: 2T~~ 3T
Dram Twtr: 3T~~~ 3T

I understand a Bit about the CAS, Trp and Trcd timings a bit and I assume I need to creep those down a bit untill the unstability starts again then go a bit up, but what about all those other settings? Dram Burst, active to precharge ect..ect. Does anyone think by changeing one of those setting would allow me to resume my 2-2-2 settings instead of the 3-3-3 settings I had before?

Just wanted to get some input before I destroy this thing..

Thanks Alot
