Is it tues that Cardas draws their own wire as claimed here:

"No doubt there is some snake oil in some circles but by and large I
have been pleasantly surprised at the amount of quality and technology
in the majority of high end products. There are some mfrs who actually
make their own wire and in fact draw it like Cardas. in fact Cardas even
created a new type of solder for its terminations and was the first to
use rhodium in the manufacture of its RCAs"
