Hi everyone,
I'd like to ask a question. :D Right-now I have a desktop system with socket A sempron 2600+@1833 mhz, 1GB memory, 250 GB WD HDD and an agp videocard(9550). A few month before I had several problems with my PC, so I decided to purchase a laptop instead of upgrading this one. I chose the following for notebooks:
1) http://global.acer.com/products/notebook/as7520.htm
2) http://www.dell.com/content/produc [...] 1?c=us&cs= 19&l=en&s=dhs&~ck=mn
3)http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/cz/cs/sm/WF06 b/388741-387007-387007-387007-12434738-13123990-80082812.html
4)http://h10010.w ww1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF06b/321957-321957-64295-321838-89315-3368540-3356624- 3382961.html

Questions: 1) Only the Acer laptop has separate videocard, the rest of them has it integrated on the mobo?
2) IS there a big difference between Windows Vista Home Premium & Buisness?
Please fell free to tell any suggestions and comments.

The first one comes with a dedicated card but only if you buy the right model. The Dell uses integrated and your other two links don't work. Vista Business will give you some extra security features and advanced network features, but Home Premium is probably o.k.(I'm using XP so I don't really know).

Any reason you are sold on AMD processors? Intels are currently better. This isn't to say that the Turion X2's are bad, but if you want the best performance Core2Duo is the way to go for now.

Business really isn't for the home user.

I have home Premium on 2 PC's, and I like it. It works great, and has a lot more neat features than XP.

Of course, so will Business, but it will have things installed that you will probably never use.

I have an AMD processor right now, and I'm satisfied with it so that's why I thought to buy one of them.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'll use it for watching movies, surfing on the internet, listen to mp3, some office work, mostly MS Word, and some gaming(Starcraft 2, sims2, gta san andreas, nfs carbon )
Thanks for your replies ;)

Of those four, the last HP is the best. It has the fastest AMD CPU of the group and has 2gb of RAM. All of them have integrated graphics except the Acer. Non of the laptops with integrated will be able to play many games. They will play Sims, but probably not the others.

It, for whatever reason, seems like only Intel laptops come with decent graphics cards. Not sure why. You may want to take a look at some of the Intel based laptops.

I checked out some Intel based laptops and the funny thing is that only their processor is faster. Most of them have integrated video card, and hdd with less capacity, smaller display etc. like this one: http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/ [...] _6710s.pdf
T he Acer compared to the Hp no2(AMD) is slightly faster due to its dedicated GPU. Although the HP is lighter, and has a faster processor, but smaller display and less capable videocard, and a 60$+ cost compared to Acer. Both of them have 2 GB memory, and the hp has vista business compared to Acer's Home premium.
