Ok, the end of summer Fall semester starts soon. I need a new laptop, I want to do my usual school work, study, and more... What's the best conf/vendor I could possibly go with given my budget of $1500? I want to game, study, word-process, and surf. I might even want to do some sound editing if possible. Please people give me some ideas, and if we can; lets go out of our way not to turn this into a pissing contest.

P.S. If you own a company email me with what you can come up with, otherwise just post.

He meant the Inspiron E1720. Not the 1710, he had the wrong number.
