Considering reinstalling win98SE. I have all additional software that I installed or can get it again and have no important data to save EXCEPT a whole lottsa music I downloaded and don't want to burn to CD. Will I lose any of my Mp3's after reinstall?

An easy way around it would be to back it up to CDs or to save them to another partition.

you could boot to dos and delete the windows folder, the whole folder, you can use deltree, then reinstal and you can keep everything.

If you want to clean reinstall win98,you can only format C:and remove all your Mp3s to D: or other.Or yon can turn to DOS mode delete the whole windows path.Use deltree. Then reinstall the win98se.You can also simply do nothing and directly reinstall the windows, but I think it's uesless,it don]t make any difference.
