Daryl J Hudson III : Facing Window 7 error

Hello,

I set up various new updates today but Service pack 1 for Win 7 keeps declining giving me the error message 80070005. I am utilizing the Windows Up-date application under the start bar, I have Win 7 64 Pro.

I've tried two times today, it gets to around 98-100% down loaded after which displays the error and the option to retry.

I am utilizing an Administrative account and also have default Windows settings with AVG 2011 Antivirus software installed.

Usually I do not have any problems installing updates.

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks!

Make sure that your date and time is correct before trying more complicated cures.
