When this subject was discussed before, the opinions were that corner
placement was best. I used this for a long time but was suffering with
a pronounced mid-bass peak and a lack of deep bass. I now have all five
subs located about 1/3 of the way back along the side walls - two on the
left and three on the right (the room is about 8000 cubic feet). This
has solved the problem. I guess each room is unique.
