I was going to print something, connecting my serial printer cable to my laptop port, when a rather large sudden electric spark(jumped back infright) occurred at the contact point(sadly my warranty is out). I have a Dell Inspiron 8600....It just blacked out - can't turn on anymore...called dell, they said mobo damaged....repalcemennt upwards 200$.... 
Anyone know how to revive it somehow?...hit power button, light on for 5 seconds, then blacks out...
