I was looking at picking up a nice simple, small light laptop for doing some light coding(vim, g++), sshing into a ubuntu box, and for some light web browsing.

i'm not looking to play games(desktop for that), just something small, simple that i can take with me when i travel and want to do stuff while watching a movie.

so i'm not going to be doing anything too intensive and i was wondering about using a celeron since it doesn't have to be that fast.

i'm looking at the asus eee but given that i may not be able to get one until next year, anyone have any small cheap laptops they'd recommend?
