Hi all,

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD570 headphones, and unfortunately the
cable has worn out. I'm wondering if anyone can help me locating a
replacement.

It's described by Sennheiser as a single-sided connection cable made of
Kevlar-reinforced oxygen-free copper. One end is a standard 1/8"
tip-ring-sleeve, the end that plugs into the phones is a 3/32"
tip-ring-sleeve jack.

Thanks for any help.

Cable replacement seems to be a issue with Sennheiser headphones. I guess
it's lucky they CAN be replaced. I have 2 Sony V6 phones that do not have
an easily replaced cable. I've used them 12 years on a daily basis, yet the
cables are in perfect condition. In fact I don't know anyone who has had to
replace the cable on V6's. (The ear pads are another matter entirely
:-)

Try the Bottlehead Phone cable at

I'm not sure they have any currently in stock but it's worth checking into
if you want a high end cable.

Try contacting Sennheiser at their website
http://www.sennheiserusa.com/

Didn't know they were using copper in their cables.
All my Sennhieser phones use a stainless steel high tensile strength
cable, never had one break or wear out yet.(and some of my phones are
older than most on this forum. HD 420's bought in '78 and a pair of
HD424's from '79.)
