Just ordered a custom Toshiba notebook P200-ST6061 today. They have several accessories available "for free" after mail in rebates.

One is an Epson CX5000 inkjet printer. Rebate is mailed to Epson.
I'm not interested in that printer to keep, so I declined on the "free" offer. Should I have gotten it & then resell it? How much would I likely get (even if was still in unopened box)?

Only sells for ~ $75 to 100, and lots of places seem to use this model for promotions - "Get this printer free after rebate when you buy..."

Unless I'd likely get > $50 reselling it, it's not worth the hassle of contacting the rebate center several times to pressure them to honor it.
