Okay let me get your point of views on this and opinions and stuff like that.
I have a Gigabyte M912X Tablet Convertible Netbook with a Resistive touch screen
Specs
Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz
2GB DDR2
Intel 945GM Chpset
Intel 945GM Integrated 256MB GPU
Synaptics TouchPad
Keyboard
8-inch Resistive Touch Screen
Okay if you use two fingers and touch a solo-touch screen it will detect it but the mouse will be in the middle.
This tells that it's multi-touch, The only problem is the manufacturer need to develop a appropriate driver for it.
This also applies for some touchpads especially the Synaptics ones. They just need to program the driver to enable multi-touch.
I think they know this but they just don't want to like copy Apple's patent or something against Apple or something like that.
This applies for all computer touch-screens so.... Not sure about mobile cellphones and portable devices
Do you tihnk most touch-screens are multi-touch and just requires a driver fix?
