HIS RECEIVED FILES GOING VERY VERY SLOWLY

my sons received files folder is giving problems..just recently when he
clicks on the folder and trys to open up a file everyhing slows down
dramatically and subsequently all computer actions.Restarting solves problem
UNTIL he goes into received folder again
he has laptop with only one gigabyte left on disk
this is totally puzzling..gratful
for any help

Your son seriously needs to clean up his computer and make more room on
the hard drive. You don't say how old your son is, but if he is a
teenager - or even a young adult - there is a good possibility his
