Hi, I put in large alphanumeric value and I got a large barcode. My scanner could not scan because it is too large. I want to break the codes in some parts. But is should be still read as one barcode. Hope someone did this before.

What application you are using? You can break the code 128 apart as a series of AI+data.

Why don't you use a two dimensional barcode? 2D barcodes is able to keep large mount of data in a relative small symbol size.

Hi, I have 2 suggestions:

1. to re size the EAN-128 barc odes, set the width and height of the bar code image to make it smaller for scanning.

2. To encode the data in a 2D bar codes, like the QR Codes or something. And if you encode too much data in one QR Code, you could use the Structured Append Feature to divide one QR Code into up to 16 QR Codes.

Hope this helps!
