I'm buying a new laptop for home that I will mainly use for gaming and browsing the internet. I've narowed down my list to the 2 below, I'm basically trying to decide between a faster processor or better memory and graphics.

1. ACER ASPIRE 5720 GEMSTONE
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 - 2GHz, 800MHz FSB, 4MB Cache
RAM: 1024MB
Hard Drive: 160GB
Screen: 15.4"
Graphics: Integrated Graphics
Battery Life: 4 hours
Weight: 2.8kg
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium
Price: £587

5 in 1 Card Reader
Integrated 0.3 Megapixel webcam

or

2.FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO PI2515
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 - 1.8GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB Cache
RAM: 2048MB
Hard Drive: 160GB
Screen: 15"
Graphics: Shared Graphics up to 384 MB
Battery Life: 3.5 hours
Weight: 2.8kg
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium
Price: £600

Thanks,
SB

You said gaming? Neither. You will be hard pressed to to find any game besides WOW that will play well on integrated graphics. Have you looked at the Dell Inspiron 1520? It would be a better option.

If I had to choose from the two that you listed I think I would choose the second one just because 2gb of RAM is almost a must with Vista.

------------------------------ LAPTOP: Sager NP5760|T7200|2gb DDR2-667| 100gb 7200rpm HDD| 512mb 7950GTX|17'' WUXGA

Desktop: Core2 E7200 | Corsair 2gb DDR2-800 | Gigabyte EP35-DS3L | 250gb Seagate Barracuda | MSI GTX260 (192 SP) | Corsair VX550 | Antec 300 case

Bottom line. How much do you want to spend? Those two are not that great for gaming. Unless you want to throw your money away.

I don't mean hardcore gaming just light stuff like Caesar IV or an RPG. I'm looking for something between £550 and £600.
