Hi....
My taskbar do not save changes I do.
After every reboot it comes up totally clean.
All my toolbars like Quick Launch, Desktop or Google Deskbar is gone, and
have to be activated after every reboot.
I thought it might be a program in the start up sequence, but I have tried
disabling all including Windowsblinds, but in vain.
Is there a registry key, or service, that prevent changes to the taskbar in
WinXP?
Have sought the net, but cannot find any help...
Running WinXP Pro SP2 Norwegian edition on a modern self built noname.

:-))
I have to laugh at my self.....
I did that registry tweak, but forgot to reboot.
Checking your tips reminded me that I did put this key in the registry just
half an hour ago.
So naturally I rebooted and the taskbar changes stuck.
I changed again and even these changes stuck after a second reboot.
Thank you for reminding me to reboot :-))
Puh... Am I glad this is solved and a reinstall of the OS is avoided, or
not!
