Quick question. Can I dual boot Windows 7 Home Premium with another partition that has Windows 7 Home Premium. I currently have Windows 7 installed on both Partitions but Windows only boots to the most current partition (i.e. it doesn't show the boot manager at start up). The objective would be to use one partition to test shareware programs, etc. (yes I know I would need 2 licenses)
I realize that in Windows 7 you can create separate users but I always thought when you install shareware etc under one account you could potentially effect the registry etc.. etc.. for all users? If my understanding is not correct please elaborate on what settings I would need to adjust to make sure my primary account would not get altered buy erroneous programs installed on the other user account.
You can do what you want if you are using 2 hdd and using the bios to switch between them. just disconnect the one drive when loading 7 on a fresh drive and add it back after the 2nd os has been installed.
