Add screen resolution for windows 7

i only have one resolution for my monitor since i installed windows 7. how can i get the different ones back

Hi,

It may be a driver issue for the video card. If windows 7 didnt install the driver for your specific video card, it is probably using a generic driver which doesnt support all the resolutions your monitor can most likely support. If you know what kind of graphics card you have, I would download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website and see if that helps. If you have onboard graphics, you will need to go to the manufacturer's site for your system board and see if they have a windows 7 driver for the onboard chip.
