MS-DOS to Win XP/MS Office 2000 Files Transfer

What is the most cost-effective and timely way to transfer selective MS-DOS files(50 max)to Windows XP/MS Office 2000? A 3.5" diskette would be too slow. Thanks. joseph0105

Are they on an IDE hard drive? The easiest solution is to just configure it as a slave drive on your xp computer, connect it up, and xp should see the files just fine. If it is older than that (not an IDE hard drive) you're looking at using serial port applications, but I don't know if that would be any faster... just less babysitting.
